Muse O Mine O Muse O Mine | A Hubbers Hub Pages Tale
55
O muse of mine
O muse of mine
Now you dwell
In heart and mind
In heart your passion
Pumps my blood
In Artery and vein
Both love and hate
Or Peace and war
You breathe upon my soul
I contemplate your every pore
And out the words do flow
For without you Mega
How could Have I written Cheetah Moon?
Without you Loreli or Habee
The Cupboard Drawer it would be bare.
Without you BPOP, Tony, or my good friend AIM
Much of the scribbles I put here would never take their shape
Without you Jess and so many more
My humble words would just but bore..
But Muse o Mine, O Muse o Mine
Warnings you must heed
You cannot shape the tale;
For never for is it to you
To know what form you take.
For as the passion, or the spark
Begins to grow and grow
It’s through the Hammers twisted lens
All ideas they must go.
Much like the Warrior Princess
(The first sweet muse o mine)
All that you are, all that I see
All that I know and sense of thee
Forever, all in totality
Becomes at one with me.
So Muse o mine
Oh Muse o mine
I thank you one and all
For this Hammer would without you
Have a cold steel heart and dull worn mind
and useless as can be.
But know ye all that once you are
An old soldiers spark and flame,
No fan or follower more loyal
Will ever read your page….

I agree with Putz absolutely! I'm blushing as well, you sweet man.
Ah, another gifted poet amongst us! :) Love it!
Dear Hmrjmr,
I am honored and moved by your words. I am a huge fan of yours and I thank you for including me among your many muses. You are the best, my friend.
Thank you again Hmr. Your intellect, sense of humor, vast experience and all around brilliance add to my writing and my life.
Well now this was a most pleasant surprise. I like it my man. You are just full of surprises and your poetry is really awesome now. I think I remember a thread where the thing was a seed in your imagination yet to be born in the morning sun. I think you have many new muses there. Muses you know are supposed to be female, we have many here do we not? Don't you be kissin' on me now bigfoot. LOL Hooorah!
John, I am both humbled and proud to be one of your muses! Didn't know you composed verse, too - a true Renaissance man!
I like your poem. Looks like you have been working hard.
wow. I wish I could write that good.
Keep on hubbing!
WOW! Bro' you just keep surprising me! I admire your talent in expression! I have to admit the first picture made me think of...... and as I realized just how long it's been since I had a hands on relation, but those empty places are filled by brothers and sisters I communicate with here and you are on my short list as are some you noted and the others I have met and follow for a short time so far but will grow to know as I have you and my Dear Breakfast Pop.
See you at the bar and we will slap our coins out on the cold wood then hoist a drink in remembrance of those who could not join us until this life has passed.
Pretty amazing! You words ignite a warm sensation, and then you run into the kitchen to dish up a beef brisket! Thanks for a great hub.
Nice. :)
brilliant i enjoyed that
AMEN!!! Briliant!! Just as Poet said!! :D
wow that is nice. I love the pictures and I strive to one day one of your muses...By the way are you a P.O.W?
Thank you Mmrmmr1 I appreciate that. The reason I mentioned it is because my father was a P.O.W in WWII for 2 years after he was captured by Germans. There are also a lot of military in my family like my nephew who is a navy pilot and was one of the first to go into Afghanistan along with a few other missions and who had a few close calls. Now he is a big shot Top Gun instructor in Nevada plus he is a substitute for the Blue Angels. When someone cant make it, he goes in. Makes us cringe but he loves doing it. Anyway, I enjoy your hubs.
What wonderful prose!! You are a multitalented man!!
He waxes poetic. I love it:
"For as the passion, or the spark
Begins to grow and grow
It’s through the Hammers twisted lens
All ideas they must go."
And thanks for the shout out, too! :)
loving this great stuff
Wow - I'm a bit slow lately - didn't know you put me at the top of your muses list - Thanks - I will repay you a thousand fold with dreams and delights of thought and actuality! Just look around and I'm there, in the lights glancing among the tree's branches, in the dappled brook that trills happily past you, in the slight breeze that cools your fevered brow - listen! the bird singing your secret soul name tells you how magnificent your life!
I missed this hub somehow,.. so glad I came to see it,.. you can write 1,ooo poems and I'd never tire from reading them. Your words are heartfelt and well just simply beautiful,...
Hmrjmr, I haven't read any of your hubs for way too long. I did not know that you were a poet. I can not believe the one stanza ' all that you are, all that I can see, all that I know and sense of thee, forever in totality becomes at one with me.' Incredibly beautiful. Best hub poetry ever!
Hmmm, pretty good stuff Big John. I never knew you had so many muses. I only have my purple lizard, but I am satisfied. Thanks for the condolences btw.
I'm back again just to say thanks to you John! Haven't seen you in the forums, hope you are happily spending some of that moola you've been raking in! Possibly vacationing in the Caribbean? But knowing you you're probably working with the vets and making someone else's life sunny!
